I saw this video for The Presets – If I Know You – on Logo’s New Now Next, a place where I see a lot of new videos. Although the production isn’t super glossy and they use that over-used, cars speeding on the freeway in LA scene in this video, I think it’s one that worth watching.

The Presets are an Australian dance duo that started putting out music in 2005. They’ve put out 2 albums, Beams in 2005 and Apocolypso in 2008 and have had huge chart success in Australia and have done quite well on the dance charts in the U.S.

There’s something so oddly lonely yet compelling about these skinny, geeky kids dancing in various LA streets with this melancholic music in the background. It’s almost like the song is a voyeur spying on them. It has a very 80′s feel to it. I loved it immediately and hope you do too.
