Pummelvision is a cool program that creates a video based on photos you’ve got online. You can choose photos from Facebook, Flickr, Instagram, Tumblr, and others. It automatically creates a video and uploads it to either your Youtube or Vimeo account for private or public viewing.

It’s taken me a bit of time to sort through all of the photos from our amazing trip. Below are some of my favorites with links to the Flickr collection dedicated to our trip to Hawaii. The surf on the North Shore was amazingly big. This doesn’t necessarily show the waves; I just like the photo.

Adi and I are so lucky to have been able to visit Hawaii, largely due to a professional conference he had on The Big Island. It had always been a dream of mine to visit Hawaii but because of the distance and cost I didn’t think it was in my immediate future. But with the help of his conference, lots of Continental miles for the flights, American miles for one hotel, and good planning, we enjoyed a fantastic and long (for us) adventure.

Fotobabble is an application that allows you to add voice to your photos. I’ve used it since it was first released and love it, especially for tailored birthday and holiday greetings. They have apps for the iPhone, Android, but you can also create fotobabbles directly from their site http://www.fotobabble.com/.

Thanks to the lovely hospitality of Xerxes Spencer and Eric James, we had a great 2 days of fun in the DC area. It was great to spend the weekend with Narges, Marc, Cyrus, Zane, and even Vincent in a different location than the NYC area. And great to see Jamshed as always. Not many of my photos turned out great so I’m hoping to see some good ones on Facebook, etc. but there were a few good ones.

I had a great time with Adi in San Francisco in May. Thursday and Friday I spent mostly on my own during the days. Saturday, we went to Muir woods and Napa and Sunday was in Silicon Valley. I took photos every day and you can see them on the links above. In Muir Woods and Silicon Valley, I also took a lot of Hipstamatic photos.

Maybe it was just that we caught it at just the right time, weather-wise. Everything always looks brighter, better, and greener when you’re on vacation, right? The truth is that everything is always brighter in California. You can see more of this in my posts on Day 1 and Day 2. We left rain in New York and we returned to even more rain, a full week of it in fact.
