My Top 20 Albums of 2009

12. Pet Shop Boys – Yes (Track: “Pandemonium”)

The Pet Shop Boys discography contains a startling ten studio albums, four compilation albums, two live albums, four remix albums, one extended play, fifty-five singles and a number of other appearances with other artists. These accomplishments date back to 1986, making them one of the most long-lived groups that’s still putting out records. Yes is an excellent album and their highest charting since 1996′s Bilingual, reaching a UK position of #4. Yes is nothing new, just that unmistakable Pet Shop Boys sound woven into a great collection of pop songs. Highlights include “All over the World”, “Did you see me Coming”, and “Pandamonium”, which is the featured track.

Well, you can t have copied my list because I (still!) have n t revealed it yet, so I guess that means a big thumbs up for your choices here, not a single one I dont also love……..for a decade that comes in for so much criticism the 80s sure has a far reaching influence on everything from guitar to electonic and various points in between.
